BELMOND-- Clara Mae Pals, 80, of Belmond, died Saturday (Sept. 9, 1995) at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Laurence Garrett officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Ewing Funeral Home, Belmond, and one hour prior to services at the church.

Clara was born May 14, 1915, near Dows. Survivors include her son, Terry Pals of Marina, Calif.; three grandsons; and two sisters, June Hofsommer of Dows and Nora Senenfelder of Minneapolis, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one infant son, one sister and one brother.
