HAMPTON — Dean A. Worden, 64, of Hampton died Monday (June 27, 2005) at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will be at a later date. There will be no visitation.

Dean A. Worden was born Dec. 4, 1940, in Hampton, to Donald and Elizabeth (Moore) Worden. He graduated from Franklin Consolidated Schools in Latimer. He was united in marriage to Penny Bailey on Oct. 7, 1958 in Dows. He was a semi driver all his life. He loved driving his truck.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Worden, of Hampton; daughter, Julie Flinchum, of Hampton; son, Greg Worden, of Hampton; granddaughter, Ashley Carroll, of Augusta, Ga.; granddaughter, Jamie Flinchum, of Hampton; granddaughter, Bailey Beebe, of Hampton; and granddaughter, Lindsay Worden, of Iowa City. He was preceded in death by parents; son, Jeffery Dean; and one sister, Diane Nielsen. Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home.
