Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Oleson were held Tuesday at two o'clock at the First Lutheran church at Dows with the Rev. John O. Langehough officiating. Burial was at Mount Hope cemetery with the Van Hove Funeral home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Oleson (Anna) a lifelong resident of the Dows area passed away Sunday morning at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Born May 21, 1877 at Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Andrew and Sophie Rasmussen, she was married December 24, 1902 in Morgan Township to Oscar Oleson.
She is survived by one daughter, (Marie) Mrs. Harvey Coburn of Dows and one grandson, Lowell Coburn, also of Dows. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1946, a grandson, Lynn Coburn in March 1964, three sisters and one brother.
