Mrs. Jeanette Annett, died November 30, 1952 at her home in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. She was 81 years old. She was born Jeanette Carpenter December 18, 1871 to Henry and Phoebe Carpenter near Boaz, in Richland County, Wisconsin.

She was united marriage to Jerome Wesley Annett on September 29, 1886 in New Hampton, Iowa. Five daughters were born to them. They are: Mayme (Mrs. Archie L. Perry) of Black River Falls; Phoebe (Mrs. James O. Hostrawser) of St. Paul, Minnesota; Maude (Mrs. Malcolm Linnell) of Grand Marais, Minnesota; Ethel (Mrs. Roy E. Linnell) of Hovland, Minnesota; Bessie (Mrs. George A. Root) of Dows, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband in June 1948, and a daughter, Phoebe, also in 1948. Mrs. Annett came from a family of six girls and one boy. Of her siblings, she is survived by a brother, Andrew Carpenter who lives in Dows, Iowa. Funeral services were held for her on December 3, 1952 at the Colonial Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls.
