Mrs. Betsy Tansey died at her home in Lincoln Township last Thursday afternoon, November 9, 1899 of a lingering illness with complications of ailments incident to old age. Mrs. Tansey had been a resident of this county many years and was a lady highly esteemed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church here Friday afternoon. Rev. Father Egan conducted the services after which the remains were carefully laid to rest by loving friends.
