BELMOND -Gladys Mikelson, 98, of Belmond, died Saturday (June 7, 1997) at the Belmond Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Tenold Funeral Chapel with Stan Watne officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and will continue until time of service on Thursday.

Gladys Mikelson was born May 9, 1899, in Grant Township, rural Clarion. Survivors include two sons, Bob Mikelson of Webster City, and Merle D. Mikelson of California; and one daughter, Donna Belle King of Dallas, Ore. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, two brothers and one sister.
