Lincoln Wayne Christensen "Chris" CW-3 USA RET.

Chris Christensen, 79 years of age, died May 17, 1999. He was born in Goldfield, IA and was a Lakewood, Washington resident since his retirement from the Army in 1967. During WWII Chris served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Honolulu and the USS Blue. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Assn. and had attended many of the reunions through the years. Chris continued his military career in the US Army. After retirement he worked at the MOS Library at Ft. Lewis. For enjoyment Chris bowled, fished, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include Margaret, his beloved wife; children, Wayne (Alzira), Robin Crossland and husband Gary, and Jeffry Stober; grandchildren Melanie Sullivan, Lt. Gary F. Crossland, Michael Wayne Christensen, Brian Joseph Christensen, Rustin Edward Stober, Cody J. Strober and Wade Alain Stober. Viewing TODAY 3 pm to 9 pm, with Memorial services 3 p.m. Friday, TODAY at Madigan Chapel. Graveside services with full Military Honors Saturday, May 22, 1999 at 10 a.m. at Mt. View Memorial Park. If you wish, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
