BEATRICE ERMA WHITNEY, 87, died Wednesday at Anna's Park Haven in Hemet. A native of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Mrs. Whitney lived in Homeland five years. She was a researcher with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for 35 years. She was a volunteer with the Los Angeles County Museum for many years. She was also a member of several Catholic singles groups.

Mrs. Whitney is survived by a niece, Barbara Done, of Homeland. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills Memorial Park. Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet is handling arrangements.
