WILLIAMS - Dallas D. Anderson, 59, died of an apparent heart attack Monday, July 14, 2003, near Boone. The funeral service was Thursday, July 17, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Williams with burial in the Otis Grove Cemetery, near Dows. Rev. Tom Hunt officiated.
Dallas was born Feb. 23, 1944, in Alden to Orlo and Lucille Moore Anderson. After graduation from Dows High school in 1962, he joined the U.S. Navy. Dallas married Linda Tapp in Collierville, Tenn., on June 19, 1965. He was a farmer and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williams.
Surviving Dallas are his wife, Linda; two daughters, Wendy and husband, Jeff Elm, and Julie and husband Rodney Claude, all of Williams; two sons, Bret and wife Michele of Alden and Terry and wife Tina of Williams; six grandchildren, his mother, Lucille Anderson of Dows; a sister, Janis Shimp of Washington; and two brothers, Clinton of Dows and David of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his father. Surls Funeral Home of Williams was in charge of arrangements.
