RUTH MARIE PAGE

EAGLE GROVE — Ruth M. Page, the daughter of Raymond and Effie (Casebolt) Marsh, was born May 14, 1921 at Lehigh, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth, graduating from Burnside High School in 1938. Ruth was united in marriage to Leonard W. Page on September 28, 1943 at Webster City. She has lived in Eagle Grove for 37 years. Ruth worked as a fabric department manager for T G & Y in Eagle Grove for 10 years before retiring in 1982. Ruth enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing and was an avid sports fan, especially the Chicago Cubs. She loved spending time with her family. Her Christian faith was an important part of her life. She and her husband, Leonard, were Charter Members of Grace Evangelical Free Church in Eagle Grove.

Ruth passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at her home in Eagle Grove at the age of 86 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard in 1997; two brothers, Bud and Pete; and a sister, Jesse Papish. Survivors include her children: Zelda Kallem and husband Ron of Pleasant Hill, IA, Charles Page and wife Charlotte of Palatine, IL, Gerald Page and wife Belinda of Lakewood, CO and Nancy Burkhart and husband Everett of Eagle Grove, IA; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; 11 brothers and sisters, Margaret Miller, Donald Marsh, Thelma Elsen and husband Don, Kate Noll and husband Dick, Dennis Marsh, Doris Swanberg and husband Lowell, William Marsh and wife Paula, Bobby Marsh, Dick Marsh and wife Marilyn, Patti Draper and husband Dan and Phyllis Breeden and husband Daniel; as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 29, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor John Nett officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove. Memorials may be directed to Grace Evangelical Free Church in Eagle Grove.
