EAGLE GROVE ENGINEER DIES
A. J. Baldner, 73, Retired Railroad Man, Heart Disease Victim

EAGLE GROVE—Funeral services for Andrew J. Baldner, 73, retired railroad engineer, will be held Thursday at the Methodist church, in charge of the Rev. J. R. Tumbleso. Burial will be made in Rose Hill cemetery, Eagle Grove. Death followed a heart attack which he suffered while in a local garage. He is survived by his widow; one son, Ray, in Evanston, Ill., and one stepson, Russell France, in Eagle Grove. Mr. Baldner was born in Knox City, Ohio, and came to this city in 1890. He was in the employ of the railway company for 48 years, retiring on pension in 1938. He was a member of the Masons and of several railroad organizations.
