PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Graveside rites for Russell Dean Tilghman, 66 of Pine Bluff, Ark., formerly of Colfax, were held recently at Graceland Veterans Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Robinson and Son Funeral home in Pine Bluff handled arrangements.

Survivors are his wife, Juanita; a daughter, Lisa Pierce of Newton; two sons, Greg of Des Moines and Rex of Gentry, Ark.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Bob of St. Paul, Minn., Lyle of Eagle Grove and Tommy of Aurora, Colo.; and two sisters, Kate Sandler of Denver, Colo., and Jeanette Otteros of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles.

Mr. Tilghman, a truck driver all his life, had retired from Jensen Construction Co., of Des Moines and Pine Bluff in 1990. He was an Army veteran of World War II. The son of Harry and Stella Boyington Tilghman, he was born June 14, 1925 in Williams. He resided in Iowa until moving to Pine Bluff in 1983.
