Mrs. Wm. Tietz, 24 Dies Suddenly

Word was received here Wednesday of the death of Mrs. William Tietz, 24, of Nashua, the former Mary Kay Zuber, daughter of Mrs. Lettie Zuber of Davenport, extension director of Scott county, and formerly of Clarion. A son was born by Caesarian section about a week ago and Mrs. Tietz was to have gone home from the hospital Wednesday. She was graduated from Clarion high school and took a two year kindergarten-primary course at Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. She taught kindergarten three years at Postville and was married June 12, 1955 to William Tietz. She is survived by her husband and her mother. Funeral services will be held Friday at Nashua. Mrs. C. C. Woodin, Mrs. Thomas Mathre, Mrs. Gerhard Thompson will sing Friday for the funeral services of Mrs. Tietz at Nashua. They will be accompanied by Mrs. Ross Mechem of Clarion.
