LUELLA M. LOATS Portage, IN, Formerly of Belmond, Iowa Age 95 passed away Friday, July 20, 2007 at Fountainview Nursing Home. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. She was a life member of the American Association of University Women. She was employed by the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, IL with 30 years of service. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Mary Circle, Gary, IN. Survivors include 5 nieces; 9 great nieces and nephews; many relatives and friends. She will be taken to Dugger Funeral Home in Belmond, Iowa for services and burial on Wednesday in the Immanuel Reformed Cemetery. Rendina Funeral Home in charge of local arrangments.

PORTAGE, Ind. - Luella Loats, 95, of Portage, Indiana, formerly of Belmond, Iowa, died Friday (July 20, 2007) at the Fountainview Nursing Home in Portage. A graveside service for Luella will be held on Wednesday, July 25, at 11 a.m. in the Immanuel Reformed Church Cemetery east of Belmond. Pastor David DeKuiper will officiate. A visitation for Luella Loats will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South, in Belmond, and will continue until departure for the cemetery.
