Rev. Oscar Rice Succumbs Tuesday

Word was received here Wednesday noon of the death of Rev. Oscar Rice Tuesday night at the home of his daughter at Rock Rapids where he had been taken Saturday. Funeral services will be held at Rock Rapids Thursday afternoon and burial will be at that place. Rev. Rice was former pastor of the Rowan Congregational church, but had lived in retirement in Clarion the past few years. He had been in very poor health the past few months.
