CLARION — Maxine C. O’Neel, 83, of Clarion, died Thursday (Aug. 27, 1998) at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Clarion, with the Rev. Charles Kellogg officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Maxine C. O’Neel [nee Chapman] was born May 25, 1915, in Woolstock Township, Wright County. Survivors include her husband, Bert, of Clarion; her children, Carolyn Threlkeld, of Britt, and Mitchell O’Neel, of Ankeny; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
