BELMOND - Memorial services for Delores Marie Stadtlander, 74, of Belmond, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Reformed Church in Meservey, with the Rev. Rodney Meester officiating. Inurnment will be in the Meservey Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the Tenold Funeral Home in Belmond and will continue one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

Delores Marie (Caquelin) Stadtlander, the daughter of Raymond and Emma (Brandt) Caquelin, was born on Sept. 17, 1925 at Woolstock, Iowa. Delores grew up in the Livermore area. She attended and graduated from the Meservey High School in Meservey in 1943. On Aug. 12, 1948, she was united in marriage to Luvern Stadtlander. The couple had three children, Sherry, Curtis and Sandra. Delores was a member of the First Reformed Church in Meservey where she was very active. She taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and helped in the kitchen for numerous events. She also had a great love for all kinds of flowers and was a member of the Ventura Federated Flower Club for many years. Delores died on Wednesday (Feb. 2, 2000) at the Belmond Health Care Center in Belmond.

Survivors include her husband, Luvern, of Belmond; three children, Sherry Kreger, of Gresham, Ore., Curtis Stadtlander and his wife, Diane, of Goodell, and Sandra Smith, of Nevada, Iowa; six grandchildren, Heather and Erica Kreger, Holly and Andy Stadtlander and Alyssa and Matthew Smith; and two brothers, Dale Caquelin, of Webster City and Clifford Caquelin, of Hokah, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Sonny Caquelin. Tenold Funeral Home
