Ardath Knutson, 75, of Green River, Wyoming, died on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at the Memorial Hospital, Sweetwater County, Rock Springs. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 8, at the Mansface Terrace Sunshine Room, Green River. Cremation will take place at the Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.

Ardath Martin, was born on October 25, 1930 in Woolstock, the daughter of Lee and Lulu Slaughter Martin. She attended schools in Clarion and graduated from the Clarion High School with the class of 1948. Her interests included cooking, telling jokes and traveling.

Survivors include one son, Jon Fletcher of Green River; two daughters, Debra DuRain and husband, Roy of Green River and Cindy Sue Knutson of Phoenix, Arizona; two sisters, Esther Heirmer of Algona and June Schumpp and husband, Walt of Mason City; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leighton, Don and Leo; and one sister, Violet.
