Sioux Falls - Christopher James Claude went to play with Jesus, on May 24, 2007. Christopher was born June 2, 2000 in Landstuhl, Germany. He moved to Great Lakes, IL in May 2001 with his family and in May 2004 moved to Sioux Falls. Christopher was currently a 1st grader at John Harris Elementary School. He loved school and was full of life and energy. His smile was infectious to all he touched. His presence in our lives was a precious gift from God.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, Gerald and Sharon and his sister, Christina, all of Sioux Falls. Surviving family includes grandparent, Robert Bjornson, Jr., Eagle Grove, IA; great-grandparents, Rose Hallagan, Eagle Grove, IA and Burton and Elsie Thompson, Roland, IA; uncle, Kelvin Claude, Ft. Riley, KS; aunt, Cindy McQuillen, Peosta, IA; and great-aunt and uncle, Chuck and Tilda Thompson, Ames IA; great-aunt and uncle, Ken and Jean Schulte of Alleman, IA; great-uncle, Carroll Hallagan, of Eagle Grove, IA; great-uncle, Mike Hallagan of Summerville, SC; great-aunt, Caroline Swenson of Ames, IA; and great-great-aunt, Marie Gearhart of Eagle Grove, IA. Preceding Christopher in death was his nanny, Marilyn Bjornson.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
