Sept. 28, 1998BELMOND — Theodore "Ted" Kaduce, 87, of Belmond, died Saturday (Sept. 26, 1998) at the Belmond Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. James Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Reformed Church Cemetery, Belmond. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home, Belmond, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.
Theodore Kaduce was born Aug. 5, 1911, in Alexander. Survivors include his wife, Frieda; four sons, Ardell "Sam" Kaudce, of Forest City; Maynard, of Waterford, Mich., Jerry, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and Junior, of Mason City; one stepdaughter, Jolene Prelip, of Salt Lake City, Utah; three stepsons, Dale Harris, of Des Moines; Glenn Harris, of Nevada; and Terry Harris, of San Diego, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild; three sisters, Alvina Olson, of Annedale, Minn., Helen Caywood, of Mason City, and Dora Boelman, of Mason City; and one brother, Louis, of Meservey. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one infant daughter, one great-grandchild, and two sisters.
