BELMOND — Carol V. Brager, 77, died Friday (Dec. 25, 1998) at his residence in Belmond. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Belmond, with the Rev. James Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Belmond Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the Belmond Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Dugger-Ewing Funeral Home, Belmond.

Carol V. Brager was born Dec. 17, 1921, at Ventura. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; two daughters, Meridee Swart, Belmond, and Marilyn Aarons, St. Peter, Minn.; a son, Daryl, Eagle Grove; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter and two brothers.
