Orel Grace Mechem Caster, 96, of Clarion, died Wednesday (Dec. 23, 1998) at the Clarion Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with Mark Young officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Orel Mechem Caster was born Sept. 19, 1902, at Clarion. Survivors include her children, Patricia Lee Phillips, of Phoenix; and James E. Caster, of Tinley Park, Ill.; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lynn Mechem, of Clarion. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother.
