Oafae Lamfers, 82, of Clarion died Thursday (Dec. 24, 1998) at the Community Memorial Hospital, Clarion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at the Chapel of Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with Mark Young, of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Oafae Lamfers was born July 28, 1916, on a farm south of Kanawha, in Wright County. Survivors include four sisters, Carrie Buseman, of Rockford, Frieda Mehus, of Austin, Minn., Gertie Paulson, of Garner, and Alice Lamfers, of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and four sisters.
