BELMOND -- Mirriam J. Triggs, 76, died Thursday (Oct. 31, 1996) at the Clarion Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsburg, with the Rev. James Hahn and the Rev. Ian Hoover officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Tenold Funeral Home, and two hours prior to services at the church.

Mirriam J. Triggs was born Feb. 20, 1920. Survivors include two sons, Harley Triggs of Ankeny, and Dennis Triggs of Belmond; three daughters, Nancy Miller of Nevada, Marilyn Howington of Lakewood, Colo., and Marlene Gresh of Castle Rock, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry Matthiesen of Curlew; and three sisters, Fern Stoltz of Austin, Minn., Catherine Seagren of Curlew, and Grace Larson of Ankeny. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister.
