BELMOND — Esther E. Michelson, 99, of Belmond, died Thursday (Nov. 13, 1997) at the Clarion Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

Esther E. Michelson was born March 30, 1898, in Belmond. Survivors include one daughter, Jackie Schilling of Kanawha; one sister, Lela Simmonds of Madison, Wis.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters. [Ruth Holm]
