CLARION -- Hattie Bottoms, 96, died Sunday (June 1, 1997) at the Dows Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Willim Funeral Home with Mark Young, of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Hattie Bottoms [nee Allen] was born Nov. 9, 1900, at Webster City. Survivors include one sister, Emma Pritchard of Urbana, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband [Carl], son, three brothers and two sisters.
