Michael W. Fritz, 33, Clarion, died Wednesday (April 2, 1997) at his parents' home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Wayne Droessler officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home, with a 7 p.m. vigil service.

Mike was born May 28, 1963, at Union, N.J. Survivors include his wife, Mindy, of Red Bank, N.J.; his parents, Michael C. and Sarah Richter Fritz of Clarion; a brother, Tom of Shawnee, Kan.; sisters, Mary Fritz of Grimes and Cathy Shaw of Des Moines; and his grandmother, Enid Richter of Rolfe. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandfather. Memorials may be directed to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Rd., Des Plaines, Ill. 60018.
