CLARION -- Daisy Mae Powgnas, 87, of Woolstock, died Thursday (June 15, 1995) at the Clarion Health Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Buckeye Cemetery in Hamilton County, south of Alden, with the Rev. Russell Surls of the Cottage Grove Community Church officiating. Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, is in charge of arrangements.

Daisy Mae Powgnas was born Oct. 21, 1907, in New Hartford. Survivors include one son, David Bohr; stepchildren, Henry Powgnas of Woolstock; Leo Powgnas of Duncombe; Ruth McCoy of Iowa Falls; Kathryn Baker of Ames and Doris Doran of Wilkes-Barres, Pa.; and many grandchildren, stepgrandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, her second husband, three brothers and one sister.
