WOOLSTOCK -- Henry W. Powgnas, 70, of Woolstock, died Thursday (May 22, 1997)at Jefferson Manorin Jefferson. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with the Rev. Charles Kellogg of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Buckeye Cemetery, Buckeye. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home, Clarion.

Henry was born on Aug. 21, 1926, at Alden. Survivors include four children, Linda Rollins of Stevens Point, Wis.; Allen Powgnas of Woolstock; Patty Johnson of Webster City, and Mary Lou Hilpipre of Plainfield, Wis.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one sister, Kathyn Baker of Ames; one brother, Leo Powgnas of Duncombe; and a stepbrother, David Bahr of Derby, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
