CLARION -- Ernest V. Sharp, 90, died Friday (Feb. 14, 1997) at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ Congregational with the Rev. Curt Miner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Willim Funeral Home.

He was born Oct. 7, 1906, in Saskatchewan, Canada. Survivors include one daughter, Diane Peterson of Fort Rapley, Minn.; two sons, William Sharp of Imperial, Neb., and Robert Sharp of Ankeny; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ester Patton of Humboldt; and one brother, Donald Sharp of Clarion. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brothers and one sister.
