DeWayne Micheal Lunning, 53, of Coulter, Iowa died Monday (Aug. 21, 1995) at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with the Rev. John Golv officiating. Burial will be in the Coulter Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Hampton.

DeWayne M. Lunning was born April 30, 1942, in Rowan. Survivors include wife, Nancy Lunning of Coulter; daughter, Kelli Ebsen of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Amy Lunning of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter Michelle Lunning of Albuquerque, N.M.; son, Michael Lunning of Albuquerque, N.M.; and daughter, Crystal Lunning of Coulter; two stepsons, Michael Janssen of Pleasant View, N.Y., and James Janssen of Flat Rock, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Lori Janssen of Sandy, Utah, and Kimberly Janssen of Exira; his mother, Mabel and husband, Bud (Lunning) Schaumberg of Garner; one brother Norm Lunning of Garner; one sister, Sue Folkerts of Forest City; one stepbrother, Jim Schaumberg of Forest City; three stepsisters, JoAnn Curley of Garner, Doreen Olson of Osseo, Minn., and Donna Karsjens of Garner; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
