HAMPTON -- Willy "Bill" Woods, 78, died Saturday (Dec. 23, 1995) at Franklin General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Congregational United Church of Christ with the Rev. Greg Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until time of services at the church on Tuesday. Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Willy `Bill' Woods was born April 17, 1917 in Rowan. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Woods of Hampton; and one brother, Leo Woods of Hampton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
