Edwin H. Box, 73, of Rowan, died Monday (Oct. 28, 1996) at the Belmond Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the United Church of Rowan, with the Rev. JoAn Lynt Skyrme officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 3:30 p.m. today at Willim Funeral Home, Clarion, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Edwin H. Box was born March 3, 1923, in Rowan. Survivors include his wife, Marvel, of Rowan; two daughters, Kathleen Box of Des Moines, and Sheryl Bokhoven of Pella; one son, Glenn of Rowan; and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents.
