Harold L. Waddell, 75, of Clarion, died Tuesday (Feb. 4, 1997) in Clarion. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Wayne Droesler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Willim Funeral Home, where there will be a vigil service at 8 p.m.

Harold L. Waddell was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Mora, Minn. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of Clarion; five daughters, Elaina Stansbury of Fort Dodge; Marcy Powell of Davenport; Elena Rowe of Fort Dodge; Karla Hanson of Des Moines, and Tammy Eivins of Cedar Rapids; four sons, Harlan Waddell of Clarion; John Waddell of Spearfish, S.D.; Sam "Buzz" Stansbury of Clarion, and David Stansbury of West Bend; one brother, Ralph Waddell of Kansas City, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
