Larry L. Tuttle, 60, of 591 430th Street, Joice, died Tuesday (June 27, 1995) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. Fourth St., Clear Lake, with Monsignor Joseph J. Slepicka of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Clear Lake, officiating. Interment will be in Brush Point Cemetery, rural Fertile, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the chapel.

Larry was born Aug. 15, 1934 in rural Belmond, Iowa, the son of Morgan Tuttle and Ethel Luick Tuttle. He attended country school and graduated from Fertile High School in 1953. He then attended Hamilton Business College. Larry served in the United States Navy. Larry married Pat Reindl on Aug. 20, 1960 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manly. He drove truck for Jim Jenkins. Larry later managed Fertile Block and Tile business and later purchased it and ran it until the 1990's. Larry enjoyed the farm and the oak trees. He enjoyed steam engines and had a great admiration for old clocks. Larry is survived by his mother, Ethel Tuttle of Clear Lake; three children, Tim Tuttle and his wife, Linda, of Fertile, Mark Tuttle of Detroit, Mich., and Robin Harms and her husband, Randy, of Joice. He is the grandfather of Alicia Harms, Adam Harms, Aaron Harms, Rachel Tuttle, Michell Tuttle and Isaac Tuttle; a special friend, Verna Sanderson of Lake Mills; two brothers, Robert Tuttle of Mason City, and Merle Tuttle and his wife, Marsha of Clear Lake; one sister, Betty Waddington and her husband, Don, of Hanlontown. He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Leo Dean Tuttle and Billy Robert Tuttle.
