Ray E. Pals, 76, of Belmond, died Sunday (Nov. 12, 1995) at Belmond Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Belmond, with the Rev. Laurence Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Belmond Cemetery with military rites by the Belmond Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Ewing Funeral Home,

Ray E. Pals was born Dec. 12, 1918, at Alexander. Survivors include his wife, Marian Pals of Belmond; one son, Ray Michael Pals, Van Meter; one sister, Frances McAllister, Dows; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
