Esther M. Stevens, 97, Clarion, died Saturday (Dec. 16, 1995) at the Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ Congregational with Stanley Watne officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Willim Funeral Home.

Esther M. Stevens was born May 13, 1898 in Gainsville, Ill. Survivors include four sons, Richard of Swea City, Fred of Sacramento,
Calif., Shirley and Robert, both of Clarion; one brother, Clarence Hokinson of Clarion; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother.
