Carroll A.W. Helmke, 84, of Renwick, died Monday (Dec. 18, 1995) at the Good Samaritan Center, Algona. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Renwick, with the Rev. John Massey and the Rev. Herbert Schiller officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Renwick.

Carroll A.W. Helmke was born June 25, 1911, in Renwick. Survivors include his wife, Olga, of Renwick; three daughters, Carolyn Kraft of Renwick; Kathleen Grosvenor of Kent, Wash., and Vicky Marty of Ames; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Baima of San Diego, Calif.; and one brother, Junior Helmke of Swea City. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
