Adeline N. Tendall, 78, died on Friday, September 27, at the Kanawha Community Home. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 30, 2002, at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home in Belmond, with burial in the Belmond Cemetery. Adeline Neoma, the daughter of LeRoy and Gladys Swenson Tendall, was born on November 5, 1923 near Kanawha. She attended country school and was confirmed at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She attended the opportunity centers in Clarion and Humboldt. She lived with her parents in Belmond and later at a group home in Eagle Grove.

Survivors include sisters, LaVina Bakken of Garner, Ruby (Cletis) Hundertmark of Ottosen and Marilyn (Richard) Howieson of Clarion; and brother, Roger (Delores) Tendall of Garner.
