Irene Sefton, 88, of Dows, died Tuesday (Dee 23, 1997) at the Dows Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, Dows, with the Rev. James Lusher officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Elledge Funeral Home, Dows. Irene Sefton was born Jan. 7, 1909, in Xenia, Ill. Survivors include two sisters Cleo Nicholson, of Belmond, and Thelma Sefton, of Dows. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
