FORT WORTH, TX -- Richard Malaise, 71, a retired service manager in heavy equipment, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, in a Fort Worth hospital. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Thursday in Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Crosier Pearson Mayfield Funeral Home.

Richard Malaise was born Dec. 5, 1931, in Wright County Iowa. He moved to Texas in 1981. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Ruth Malaise, one brother and one sister. Survivors: Wife, Beverly Malaise of Burleson; sons, Troy Malaise of Denver Colo., Rusty Malaise and wife, Vicki, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; daughters, Pam Richardson and husband, Tutter, of Crowley, Sherri Richardson and husband, John, of Godley; grandchildren, Constance, Jason, Dakotah, Colton and Hannah; two brothers; seven sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
