Eighteen-year Coarsegold resident Mildred May "Milly" Bulmer died Jan. 23, 2007 at home at the age of 92. She was born to Harry and Gladys Wright Sept. 10, 1914, in Eagle Grove, Iowa. After college, she became a legal secretary. She married Jack Knighton Bulmer in Mason City, Iowa, in 1937. Later, they moved to Pacific Palisades, where Mr. Bulmer worked as an aeronautical engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration and "Milly" worked as a secretary in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She moved to the Oakhurst area in 1989 and was a member of numerous women's organization and charities. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Curtis Jackson of Bass Lake and her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Jane Bulmer of Cornville, Ariz.
