EAGLE GROVE — Adeline Kathryn Wyatt, the daughter of Wilbert M. and Emma Minnie (Van Houghton) Wilcox, was born June 18, 1922 in Rutland, Iowa. She was raised and educated in Humboldt. In 1938, Kathryn married Charles Brown and the couple made their home in Eagle Grove. Charles preceded her in death in November of 1955. On May16, 1957, Kathryn married Cecil M. Wyatt, Sr. at Fort Dodge. Cecil preceded her in death on May 15, 1998. Kathryn loved to read and work crossword puzzles. Kathryn passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge at the age 84 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands. Survivors include her children: Wilbur Brown and wife Sandy of Eagle Grove, Ernest Brown and wife Barb of Eagle Grove, Freda, Terry Hill of Muskegon, MI, Karen, Jerry, Cecil Wyatt, Jr. of Clarion, Betty Lou Wyatt of Mason City, Bruce Wyatt of Eagle Grove, Greg Wyatt of Eagle Grove and Vicky Pamperin and husband Al of Eagle Grove; 22 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Pastor Paul Stone officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
