Edna Marie Meline, 95, died Monday, March 29, 2004, in Sheridan Manor. Memorial services will be later in Webster City, Iowa. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Mrs. Meline was born Aug. 24, 1908, on the family farm near Verona, N.D., to Ingverd and Anna (Lippert) Arenkiel. She married Theodore W. Meline Aug. 7, 1929, at Oakes, N.D. They moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa, and, in 1939, to Webster City. Mrs. Meline worked at the Hahne Printing Co. for 24 years, retiring in 1972. She was a longtime member of First Congregational Church United Church of Christ, church circles and the Senior Citizens Center in Webster City. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1997, and by 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Joan McClain of Naples, Fla., and Charlotte Frary of Monroe, Mich.; a son, Theodore R. of Sheridan; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
