David Saunders, 64, of Eldora died of a heart ailment and stroke Wednesday at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Steamboat Rock Presbyterian Church, and burial will be in Steamboat Rock Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Saunders was born in Indianapolis. He was interim pastor at Dows Presbyterian Church and had been a Mason and a pastor-at-large for the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Ramona; two daughters, Debra Truesdale of Steamboat Rock and Amy McGriff of New Sharon; three sons, Thomas of Denver, Colo., William of Kansas City, Mo., and John of Marshalltown; and three grandchildren. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora.
