Michael E. Reed, 28, Andrea L. (Lippolt) Reed, 24, and Isabel Reed, 2, all of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, January 14, 2007, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Boone County. Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Grindberg officiating. Military honors for Michael will be presented by the 133rd Air National Guard Ceremonial Unit. The visitation will be at St. Olaf Lutheran Church from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Michael, the son of Gary and Deb (Muth) Reed, was born Apr. 9, 1978, in Waterloo, Iowa. He graduated from the Union Community School District at Dysart. He was employed with Bertch Cabinet in Waterloo and also served in the Air National Guard. Michael moved to Fort Dodge and was employed with Fort Dodge Labs until serving full time with the 133rd Air National Guard in Fort Dodge. He was a Technical Sergeant and served as the Quality Assurance Specialist (electronic). He was united in marriage to Andrea Lippolt on Nov. 18, 2006, in Fort Dodge. Michael was an avid Kevin Harvick fan. He enjoyed woodworking and had taught himself how to play guitar. Michael is survived by his parents, Gary and Deb Reed, Garrison, Iowa; his sister Amy Anderson, Carroll; his nephew Sean; and his aunt Diane Reed, Edmund, OK. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Hazel Reed, and Adam and Ethel Muth.

Andrea, the daughter of Dennis and JoAnn (Helmke) Lippolt, was born Nov. 7, 1982, in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Humboldt High School in 2001. Since high school, she was employed with the Humboldt Hy-Vee. She attended Iowa State University and Iowa Central Community College. Andrea was employed at Trinity Regional Medical Center as secretary in the pain management department. Andrea enjoyed baking and cooking. She made crafts and she enjoyed the outdoors and time spent with family and friends. Andrea is survived by her mother and step-father, JoAnn and Bill Schnell, Webster City; her father Dennis Lippolt, Hardy; her brother Josh Lippolt, Hardy; her grandparents, Lavonne Helmke, Goldfield; Verna Lippolt, Hardy; Carl and Charlene Lippolt, Humboldt; Delma Schnell, Webster City; two step-sisters, Jennifer Schnell and Valerie Schnell; a step-brother Dustin Flatebo; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman Helmke and Merlyn Schnell.

Isabel Nicole Reed, the daughter of Michael and Andrea, was born Feb. 26, 2004, in Fort Dodge. Isabel adored being with babysitters, Laura and Tom Olson, of Fort Dodge, and enjoyed riding horses. She brought much joy to those who knew her. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
