Kenlee Sue Uhlenhopp, infant daughter of Kirk and Renee Uhlenhopp of Belmond, passed away Thursday (Jan. 7, 1999) at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Reformed Church with Pastor Rob Ford officiating. Burial will be in the Belmond Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Dugger Ewing Funeral Home.

Kenlee was born on Dec. 31, 1998, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City. Her seven days with her family brought them much love and joy. Her brief time with them will never be forgotten. Kenlee is survived by her parents, Kirk and Renee Halfpop Uhlenhopp; two brothers, Kyle and Karter; maternal grandparents, Leland and Susan Halfpop of Belmond; paternal grandparents, Ken and Carryl Uhlenhopp of Hampton; maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Watne of Belmond; paternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Uhlenhopp of Dumont; paternal great-grandfather, Fred Jurgena of Hampton; aunts and uncles, Rachelle Halfpop of Goodell, Kelly Johnson and her husband, Kent, of Cedar Falls; four uncles, Robert Halfpop and his wife, Debra, of Belmond, Rodney Halfpop of Garner, Ryan Halfpop and his wife, Tammy, of Rockwell, and Randy Halfpop of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 11 cousins and numerous other relatives and a community of friends.
