Gilbert L. Hansen Sr., 85, died Friday morning, Aug. 4, 1995, in Virginia Gay Annex, Vinton, Iowa after a sudden illness. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Presbyterian church, Vinton. A prayer service begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian church, Goldfield. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Goldfield. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Vinton, and after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Dr. Dennis Morey will officiate. Survivors include three sons, Gilbert L. Jr. and Willis, both of Vinton, and Keith of Hampton; a brother, Harold of Goldfield; and a sister, Geraldine Flatebo of Eagle Grove.
