Ina VanNimwegen, 92, died Monday in Grinnell General Hospital. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mayflower Home Denison Chapel in Grinnell. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. There will be no visitation. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a son, John of Green Valley, Ariz., and a daughter, Marilyn Iliff of Cedar Rapids.

Ina VanNimwegen, 92, of the Mayflower, died Monday, Nov. 16, at Grinnell General Hospital. Memorial services were conducted Wednesday in Denison Chapel at the Mayflower, with the Rev. David Bowman officiating. Pianist was Norman Goodbrod. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, with the Smith Funeral Home of Grinnell in charge of arrangements.

She was the daughter of Reyer and Jane Colthof Brandts and was born Sept. 1, 1900, in Sioux Center, where she attended school. She was married to Edward VanNimwegen Nov. 6, 1923, in Orange City. The couple lived in Alton for nine years before moving to Eagle Grove in 1932. Mrs. VanNimwegen moved to the Mayflower in 1964. She was a member of the Grinnell United Church of Christ-Congregational.

Surviving are a son, John of Green Valley; one daughter, Marilyn Iliff of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and one sister. Memorials in her name may be made to the Mayflower building fund.
