Mary Therese (Lacaeyse) Nelson, 54, formerly of Moline, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at her home in Centerburg, Ohio. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at DeRoo Funeral Home in Moline and 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline. Graveside services will 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield, IA. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.

The former Mary Therese Lacaeyse was born July 15, 1950, in Moline, the daughter of Edward P. and Rosemary Hannan Lacaeyse. She married Kevin Nelson on January 1, 1996 in Goldfield, IA. Mary was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a graduate of the former St. Mary's School in Moline and Alleman High School in Rock Island. Survivors include her husband, Kevin; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy Harrison of Denver, CO, Kris and Tim Michel of Columbus, OH, and Anna and Tim Vandekieft of Ames, IA; sons, Casey Harrison of Ames, IA and Matt Harrison of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Logan, Karly, Noel, Kathleen and Lucinda; and a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Susan Lacaeyse of Kankakee, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
